Spa Diamond is a multi-award winning 5-star day spa operating in the UK for over 11 years, across multiple sites. We are specialists in massage treatments and skincare, with a deep heritage in the proven and historic roots of the natural medicinal treatments of Thailand.
The menu features over 30 different treatments and is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

The benefits of massage are numerous, with the most predominant being the maintenance of good health and the ability to treat a wide spectrum of health concerns. Traditional massage is known for its ability to clear the energy pathways.
Massage is like a cross between acupressure, yoga, and zen shiatsu and is inspired by Buddhist teachings. The actual massage consists of slow, rhythmic compressions and stretches along the body’s energy lines, also called sen in Thai. Over 70,000 sen are said to exist within the body, and Thai massage concentrates on applying pressure along 10 of the most important sen, using the palms of the hands, thumbs, elbows, and feet. The effort from the practitioner works to free tension within the body. Practitioners also position the body into yoga-like poses and gently rock the body to open the joints and facilitate limbering.

Based in Derby and growing up in Thailand, Cookie is driven to share her insights driven by her lifelong interest in the art of massage.

Growing up in Thailand and being able to follow her passion, Cookie was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to study at one of the most prestigious massage schools in Thailand, before coming to live in Derby.
Cookie’s passion, dedication and natural deep connection with the healing capabilities of these holistic therapies have enabled her to not only excel at her training, but to rapidly progress and being recognised as a leading teacher of massage as a vocation.
At the heart of this was a belief that only by having the right empathy, care, knowledge, passion, staff, and environment would it be possible ensure that the customer experience would be exceptional.
This inspired Cookie to open the first Day Spa in Derby during 2011. In 2014, Cookie opened a second day spa and then in 2016, building on the support of her customers and staff, Cookie undertook the substantial investment to refurbish a historic building in Birmingham to open a third day spa. This enabled Cookie to create a fantastic new Day Spa just outside the city centre which now specializes in many award-winning massage and beauty treatments.
With eight beautifully appointed treatment rooms over three floors, including an award winning couple’s room, this effort has been rewarded with an overwhelmingly positive response.
Since opening, Spa Diamond has had the honour and privilege to receive many awards including the Luxury Travel Guide award for couple’s massage – United Kingdom, Best Sports Massage – Midlands, and the Travellers Choice award from Trip Advisor in 2020.
Spa Diamond has a special focus on every aspect of massage and the different areas where it can be of use and invested in exhibiting at the National Wedding show at the NEC, centred on enhancing this special life event for all involved which was a great success.
In 2018, inspired by this rich heritage, Cookie was delighted to be able to expand the Day Spa in Derby by moving to a much larger building while remaining in the city centre. This, with its increased rooms and facilities, has enabled Spa Diamond to continue to provide award-winning services to customers in Derby.
Spa Diamond and Cookie is passionate about providing the most effective treatments to all customers, and because of this, has invested substantially in the of training all Spa Diamond therapists to the very highest standards, which now number over thirty full and part time staff across the midlands.
We are looking forward to welcoming new members and locations to our family as we continue to bring our vision to the people who need us.
