Sara Brady
Sara has 35 years’ professional experience in the assistance dog world of dog training, behaviour, and welfare working with Guide Dogs, Guide Dogs Toulouse and Dogs for Good (formerly Dogs for the Disabled).
Sara has great knowledge and experience in assessing and training dogs in sound assistance dog work, obedience, social behaviour and working with the recipient throughout the life of the dog, providing training and support to ensure safe and effective working partnerships.
In her career at Dogs for Good her role was to manage and support the day-to-day operations of the Instructor team including recruitment, training and development. Sara has also been involved in various doggy pursuits or voluntary rescue work, such as; agility, obedience, trick training, rescue and re-homing and has a passion for animal welfare and rights.
Sara’s past experience gives her the ability to assist you in developing your skills and knowledge in assessing a dog’s character and behaviours, and then how to implement the correct handling techniques.
Paul Ahern
Paul has a 35-year career in sales and marketing, focusing on customer service. Last 15 years establishing, recruiting, developing and mentoring a national network
of distributors.
The earnings potential
What you can earn out of Canine Company Franchise is, in the final analysis, up to you: how hard you work,
and how gifted you are. It’s no different to anything else. But you’ll be surprised at how the numbers can stack up.
Year 1 = £25,000 – £35,000
Year 2 = £35,000 – £55,000
Year 3 = £60,000+
Earnings are dependent on what services you offer, how many hours a day you work and location in the UK.
Average Costs
Dog Walking individual cost = £13 – £15 per hour
Dog Walking group cost = £13 – £15 per hour
(maximum of 6 dogs, 4 walking slots a day)
Dog Day Care cost = £22-£30 per day
(minimum of 4 hours)
Dog Sitting (owners home overnight)
= £30 – £50 per night

Following our proven business
model you can expect to turn over
£25,000 – £35,000 in your first year,
£35,000 – £55,000 in Year 2 and over £60,000 in Year 3.

so although you will be acquiring a proven, successful concept and receiving support throughout, success is dependent on the work that you put in.
Is my area exclusive to me?
Yes, we provide you with an exclusive postcode based territory. All enquiries within your area will be passed directly to you.
Can I obtain finance?
The Start-Up Loans scheme is a government-run initiative that provides loans to businesses of all types across the UK. It offers loans of up to £25,000. Different to the banks, it offers up to 100% of the investment amount, and applicants can apply for capital repayment holidays. It is a great way
to fund a franchise.
Will I need a vehicle?
Yes you will need a vehicle. We will provide you will full support with acquiring your van. All sign writing is included in the initial Franchise Fee.
