Who are British Military Security?

British Military Security (BMS) is a commercial security organisation offering expert services including event security, venue security, close protection, surveillance and manned guarding for high profile clients. Based in Birmingham, BMS is led by Gavin Meers and Ryan Russell, who are both former senior members of the Armed Forces with over 20 years of experience between them. They have been involved in operations in Afghanistan, Kosovo and Iraq. The company was formed after the pair spotted a gap in the market for a company that strives to provide a professional security solution by way of skilled operatives not just ‘jacket fillers’. This approach and only employing proactive, forward thinking operators has attributed to the companies rapid growth.

Testimonials

British Military Security acted as our security partner for the 2013 Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Stadium. They delivered an excellent service across all areas and provided world class close protection services for arguably the biggest sport star in the world, Usain Bolt, as one of their extra tasks.

Ryan Murphy Commercial Director British Athletics.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude and thanks for helping us make the Glasgow Loves Christmas event in December 2013 a massive success. Without your support, creativity and hard work, this event would not have been what it was. Your security firm was outstanding. Everyone remarked on how you were the best company they’ve ever worked with. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with you again and would do so in a heartbeat.

Jacqui Wallace Director ‘Shes Gott It’
