Savings
First and foremost are the savings, by reducing the frequency of line cleans we are reducing the amount of beer wastage associated with those cleans, reducing associated labour savings and chemical costs. These savings are approximately 92%, based on a 12 – week cycle where the site would have been completing 52 cleans per annum without the technology and are instead now completing just 4. The average public houses waste 56 pints across 8 products and split lines. With the system installed the overall savings are £75,000 over 5 years for the average site.
Reduced Drip Tray Wastage
Drip tray wastage mainly caused by excessively fobbing beer is a direct result of dirty beer lines. Toxins released by the bacteria react with the CO2 and lead to fobbing. Drip tray wastage can account for up to 15% of every pint poured which is 13.2 pints of every standard 50l keg. The Beer Saver technology will 100% eliminate beer fobbing and further improve GP and reduce beer wastage. Reduced drip tray wastage is an additional savings on top of the average sites saving of £75,000 over 5 years.
Beer Quality
Clean beer lines mean clear crisp pints with heads that cling to the glass every time (decent glassware permitting). The Beer Saver technology guarantees the perfect pint every time, helping to drive sales revenue through quality. The technology has also been shown to improve the shelf life of keg and cask products. We have seen across the board an increase in sales where the technology has been installed, we strongly believe that our technology encourages the 2nd serve. Equally as important, it ensures that bad beer doesn’t result in the loss of repeat business.
Sustainability
Beer is classed as food and food wastage is high on the global environmental agenda, with the technology installed the average site will improve its sustainability credentials with the following savings –
0.7 CO2 footprint reduction per annum.
53,387 gallons of Water footprint reduction per annum. (It takes roughly 20 gallons of water to make one pint
of beer).
Included in the package would be our line cleaning service where our experienced technicians (you) are on 24/7 callout for any beer quality issues – there won’t be any, however our customers have got the peace of mind of knowing we will always be onsite within a few hours if needed.
By completing the line cleans it also means that our technicians are regularly in the cellars and become very familiar with the client’s infrastructure. During these cleans a full cellar survey is completed as standard, checking condition of equipment, temperature, and stock rotation. Any issues are fed back immediately meaning they can be rectified before they affect service and the customer experience.
This is an industry leading product and service that generates regular income from both line cleaning contracts and Beer Saver technology rental.
