Thank you for showing an interest in becoming part of our Netball Stars team. This was originally a Welsh-run business, ‘Plantos Pel-rwyd’, established in 2020 to provide fun and structured physical sessions for children which allows them to enhance their emotional, social, motor and fine skills.
Netball is an ever growing sport with Welsh Netball reaching over 10,000 members for the first time in history, and England Netball stating that there has been a significant increase of over 50,000 in participation in the last year. In addition, more than 160,000 Brits have started playing netball or increased their participation in the sport since the World cup. We at Netball Stars want to aid in the continuation of this trend at grassroots level by introducing the FUNdamentals of the sport at a young age.

We run active sessions for a variety of ages and abilities, with classes for
2/3-5/6-7 year olds, nurseries and schools, as well as providing fun, active birthday parties.

Founder
Mother of two wonderfully busy children and a wife to their amazing Dad, I am currently head of a PE department in Llanelli working with a great team. I am also a partner of a successful swim school that I established in 2013.
I am an enthusiastic and motivated individual driven to providing the best sporting opportunities to children whilst providing for my own.
YOU must be a driven, enthusiastic and fun individual ready to ensure that children are hooked on sport for life. You do not need to be a teacher or a qualified netball coach – training will be provided.
Sport has always been a significant part of my life and I firmly believe that it has had a part in making me the person I am today. I hope that, together, we can make this difference for the next generation.

Let’s talk money
There is a potential to earn a significant amount of money running you own franchise. You can make this as big as you want!
Sessions are run on a weekly basis, (not including Easter, bank holidays and Christmas) however there is a possibility to run school term time only.
The earnings potential
You can run Netball Starts within nurseries and primary schools, holiday clubs and provide excellent fun filled parties that will top up your earnings on general Netball Stars classes.
One year overview income:
General Classes = £32,419.20
(8 hours, 44 weeks, 12 netballers per session)
Nursery / School contract = £12,000
(5 x half day sessions for 30 weeks of the year)
Champion Coaching holiday club = £13,500
(20 days, 45 netballers)
Parties = £1500
(20 x 1 hour parties throughout the year)
Or make it your full time career and earn in excess off £100,000 per year
General classes only
3 weeks off at Christmas; 1 week off at Easter; 4 weeks off during school summer holidays.
Total number of weeks = 44 weeks
Classes – 2 years & 3-5 years
12 members @ £4.95 per 30 minute session = £59.40
6-7 years
12 members @ £5.45 per 40 minute session = £65.40
Recommended Plan:
Session one (30 minutes) – 2 years
10 minute change over
Session two (30 minutes) – 3-5 years
10 minute change over
Session three (40 minutes) – 6-7 years
